Murray Bridge Passenger Service goes back to when Bruce and Ruth Frazer bought the business in 1955.  It then operated with two buses running between Murray Bridge and Adelaide.  The combination of rather primitive engineering, steep hills and narrow roads ensured that operating the service was not without its challenges.

When Bruce, Ruth and those original Ford buses enjoyed retirement, Murray Bridge Passenger Service then become a second generation family business being managed by their son Gary along with his wife Sue, until they retired with the sale of their business.

In August 2008, the ATE Group purchased Murray Bridge Passenger Service from Gary and Sue and now continues the operations of the business.
